Okay, here's the problem... I have plenty of ideas for the TD Fan Story (which seriously needs a
name!) but all of those ideas would take place after the first story. Which sucks, because I don't know what to do next. *bangs head on desk* My current headache isn't helping, either.
Anyway, most of those ideas are one shot ideas, but some of them could be ideas for future chapters. I'm going to list the ideas so I won't forget about them. Here they are:
1) Lightning becomes horribly sick and Darkly has to take care of him... only problem is, Lightning has a serious fever that Darkly doesn't know how to bring down. (One shot; set after story one)
2) Dusk (a character that will be introduced later) tells Lightning that Darkly ought to go to the doctor and the dentist for checkups, because Darkly has never been to either place. Lightning, who hates doctors, dentists, and anything to do with them, at first refuses, but when Dusk persists, relucantly gives in, knowing deep down that Darkly really does need to go. Darkly, who is also pretty scared of the idea of a checkup, now has to deal with his very first doctor's and dentist's visit. (Chapter idea; most likely for story two)
3) Darkly begins to have bad dreams and can't sleep well at nights, and finds out one night it's because Lightning no longer has to sleep in the room with him. Since Lightning's presence is what made him feel safe at night, he can't sleep, or if he does, he has nightmares. Darkly now has to decide which is worse: losing massive amounts of sleep, or having to go to Lightning in the middle of the night, wake him up, and ask him for help. Option one is bad, but option two isn't all that great either... because Darkly is convinced that if he gets Lightning annoyed, Lightning might decide to kick him out of the house. (One shot; set after story one)
4) The new neighborhood Lightning and Darkly have moved to is much nicer, and even has kids Darkly's assumed age (which would be 11). Shortly after moving there, Darkly develops a huge crush on one of the neighborhood girls, though unfortunately, she seems to have no interest in him. He does make a couple friends there, and he's absolutely ecstatic at finally finding a place where he belongs. But a large group of the kids find him and his attitude abnormal and resolve to try to make him as miserable as possible, in the hopes that he'll go back from where he came. Darkly, although definitely hurt by their efforts, refuses to let them ruin what he's worked so hard to get. But what happens when one particular kid rounds up a gang of his friends and takes things too far? (One shot or future chapter... haven't decided)
5) Darkly goes to the store to pick up some popcorn, so he and Lightning can enjoy a movie together. However, on his way back home, a strange porcupine runs up to him all in a panic, shoves something into his hands, and then runs away. A few moments later, two Mobians come up to him and demand to know if he's seen a porcupine, and if so, where he went. One of them grabs him and Darkly, who becomes overwhelmed by the hatred and cruelty he can sense in the kid's Aura, gets frightened and points out where the porcupine ran off too. Later that night, he opens the package he was given and finds it contains a map of a series of caves called the Lost Labyrinth, and a map of how to get to the place. He questions Lightning about it without telling him about the maps, and Lightning tells him that it's a place straight from legend; it is said to hide in its center the most valuable treasure in the world. Darkly, who feels as though he's been a burden to Lightning because Lightning has been taking care of him this whole time with nothing in return, becomes excited and decides to try to use the maps to find this treasure as a way of showing Lightning how grateful he is to him. When Lightning leaves the next day to work at his florist shop, the porcupine from yesterday shows up at his house, and after a discussion, they decide to go hunt for the treasure together. Unfortunately, the Mobians from earlier are well aware of what they're up to, and follow them, determined to stop them so that they can claim the treasure first... at whatever cost. Will they find the treasure and get back home, or will the crooks make sure they don't live to tell the tale? (could possibly end up as its own story, since its likely be long)
6) Newspaper headlines report robberies in a different district of Station Square. All of the victims are corrupted, millionaire council members. The thief has been nicknamed the Shadow Thief, and for a long time, nothing much is known about him. When a photo is finally snapped of him, Darkly and Lightning are shocked to find that the Shadow Thief bears a startling resemblance to Darkly. There are only two differences. One: His eyes. The Shadow Thiefs eyes have a pale red sclera, lime green irises, and no pupils at all. Two: His quill clumps. Darkly's bottom set points upwards; the Shadow Thiefs point downwards. Is this the older brother that Darkly has been searching for?
We know he's not, even if they don't. But if the Shadow Thief isn't Dark... then who is it? (future chapter, one shot, or its own story... most likely its own story)
Okay, those are my ideas. I might add more later. So... what do you think of them?
Oh, and if it's hard to read the journal because of the skin I chose, let me know. And if anyone finds a skin with stars, lightning, fire, or flowers on it, let me know. And if you could, gimme a link to the skin. ^^
EDIT: Changed the skin. This should be easier to read now.
